Thanks to Goal Museum committee

Dear Editor,

I would like to express my deep appreciation to the Gaol Museum committee for naming the huge shed the Mick Beckwith and Jeni Japp exhibition area; which made us both so thrilled.

I couldn’t get over the amount of work that has gone into the museum since I left the committee.

The whole place looks fantastic.

I realise Federal money has gone into the establishment and Hay Shire Council has managed the funds well, and can take a bow for that.

I also thank the councillors who attended the function on Thursday morning and especially the local member, Sussan Ley for coming over to open the new shed.

It was a great occasion and one which was a highlight for me.

Thank you all for this great honour and thanks to the other residents who attended the occasion.
